Intelligent operations thanks to AI
The built-in AI model can detect vehicles, ships, and objects during search and rescue operations or routine flights. It also supports switching to other models, enabling expanded AI application scenarios. It also captures high-resolution raster images and offers advanced tracking capabilities.
Laser rangefinder and measurement precision
The laser rangefinder enables precise, real-time measurements. With simple operations like pointing, drawing lines, and calculating areas, it can perform tasks like marking target locations for inspections or calculating fire areas. Furthermore, users can share information via a QR code in DJI Pilot or FlightHub 2 to enhance collaboration and increase work efficiency.
Recorded range of observations
DJI Pilot 2 can mark the camera’s central position and the area being surveyed. It allows the surveyed area to be displayed on a map, making it particularly useful for patrols and rescue operations in mountainous terrain without clear landmarks.
Efficient flight and accurate operations
Possibility to use intelligent functions such as:
- “Cruise”: Allows you to activate automatic mode to pilot the drone in a specific direction without having to constantly hold the throttles, which facilitates long-distance flights.
- “FlyTo”: In case of emergency, the drone automatically adjusts its flight route and speed to the surroundings to reach the designated location without manual adjustments.
- “Smart Track”: Enables precise subject tracking and automatic zoom adjustment, allowing you to easily change tracked targets even if they are temporarily obscured.
- “POI”: Allows continuous observation and 3D modeling of buildings by flying around a designated area, which increases the efficiency of observation and modeling tasks.
Night scene mode
The Matrice 4 series has received a significant update to its night vision. The full-color night vision camera now supports three modes and two levels of improved noise reduction. Equipped with an IR Cut Filter and NIR auxiliary light, it easily overcomes the challenges of low-light conditions, ensuring clear visibility during search and rescue missions.
Smart Low-Light Photo function
Matrice 4 Series cameras feature larger apertures and intelligent low-light capabilities, significantly increasing performance and improving operation at dusk and at night.
NIR auxiliary lighting
The Matrice 4T features new NIR illumination that allows for illumination distances of up to 100 meters[4]. This ensures excellent visibility of objects in dark environments.
Thermal imaging
The Matrice 4T supports High-Res infrared mode with an image resolution of up to 1280 x 1024. It also offers ultra-high resolution, revealing fine temperature details for various operations. Each device undergoes temperature accuracy calibration at the manufacturing stage and utilizes a built-in sensor to provide real-time temperature measurements with the highest accuracy.
Omnidirectional Fisheye detection in low light
The Matrice 4 series is equipped with six high-resolution, low-light fisheye vision sensors, significantly enhancing visual positioning and obstacle avoidance capabilities in low-light conditions. This allows for automatic obstacle avoidance, intelligent rerouting, and safe return in low-light urban environments.
Improved telephoto lens
The Matrice 4 Series is equipped with a medium-telephoto camera, which expands its capabilities for mid-range inspection tasks. When inspecting power lines or bridges, it can detect bolts and cracks from a distance of 10 meters and clearly read data from substation instruments.
High-resolution telephoto lens
The Matrice 4 series telephoto camera has significantly improved clarity, offering 48MP resolution, capable of capturing incredible detail from signs up to 250 meters away. Additionally, the Matrice 4T is equipped with an infrared reduction filter, enabling 24/7 operation.
