E Cutter is a Lidar based real time measurement system for pruning the vegetation in the power line right of way. The system will use an Ultra puck to detect the phase lines and in real time tell the machine operator the width that is currently pruned. This way the operator does not have to leave his machine and all the time prune just inside the right of way. The Lidar is encapsulated in a protective glass and mounted on top of the machine where it can have a clear field of view of the power line. A computer running our software is mounted inside the cabin of the machine.

The operator has a clear view on the tablet screen mounted inside the machine of what still needs to be cut and how far the cutting head is from the line. Data collected in the field can be recorded and replayed in the office or exported to reports with GPS location.
